Senior Center Outreach is conducted by knowledgeable HICAP counselors, registered with the California Department of Aging to provide unbiased Medicare counseling to older adults and persons with disabilities. HICAP counselors are also part of the Information and Referral Program, which helps seniors and their families identify and access programs and services to meet their specific needs. During their visit to the senior center, attendees can expect to receive the following free services:
Medicare insurance consultation, answer questions, help you navigate options
Information and referrals to programs such as In-Home Supportive Services, Transportation, and Legal services
